When COVID-19 arrived, we wanted to bring our city together and support those who were hit the hardest–small businesses. We filmed a haunting piece, featuring the voice of Birmingham Mayor Randall Woodfin and cinematic footage of the people and places that were suffering.
Because Birmingham is “The Magic City,” we created a rally cry to unify us all: We Are Magic. We developed a logotype that we used across our awareness campaign and created merchandise, held giveaways, and developed creative assets to help spread the word and raise funds for Birmingham small businesses.
We donated 100% of the proceeds to The Community Foundation of Greater Birmingham, which provides support for those in need.
